21-24 March the Intercultural cities programme will carry out expert visits to Cascais and Lisbon (Portugal).

A representative of the Council of Europe and an independent expert will meet city officials (including the Mayors) and a wide range of local stakeholders in order to confirm the cities’ INDEX results and make an in-depth "diagnosis" of their achievements and needs in relation to intercultural policies and governance.

The programme of the visits also includes a presentation of the Intercultural city concept to the wider public. The visits will further result in a report that will draw the “intercultural profile” of the city and which will be the basis of subsequent work.
